The George Eastman Museum’s holiday gingerbread display now open
Holiday celebration includes wreaths, trees, mantel displays, and holiday films
The George Eastman Museum’s annual Sweet Creations gingerbread display has returned for the season. The sweet-smelling show of more than 50 cleverly designed and deliciously decorated gingerbread creations opened to the public on November 9 and will remain on view through January 5, 2025. Dozens of handcrafted wreaths, festive tabletop trees, and mantel displays are also on display.
In order to manage crowds, the museum is recommending advance ticketing for nonmembers. Tickets may be purchased in advance at eastman.org/tickets. Museum members and others receiving free museum admission (SNAP/EBT cardholders and active-duty military and their families) may check in onsite.
The silent auction for the Sweet Creations gingerbread display, Handcrafted Wreaths, and Tabletop Trees returns online at eastman.org/holidays. Guests can view the gingerbreads, wreaths, and trees in person or online, and place their bids from any mobile device or computer. Proceeds from the auctions benefit the George Eastman Museum.
