Golf Tournament Supports Veterans

Knights of Columbus Donate $13,000
The Fourth Degree Assemblies of the Knights of Columbus held a golf tournament in August to support the Veterans Outreach Center in Rochester. “As a result of the tournament, we were able to donate $13,000 to the VOC,” said tournament director Lee Arbegast of Spencerport. Over the years, the tournament has resulted in $85,000 in donations.
The Mission of the VOC is to serve veterans with compassion and advocate for all who have worn our nation’s uniform so they can RISEand live life to the fullest. For more information, visit veteransoutreachcenter.org.

Supporting and promoting the tournament are members from St. Joseph Assembly Spencerport, Bishop James E. Kearney Assembly Rochester, and St. John Fisher Assembly Pittsford. “We endeavor to serve those who serve through our many activities,” said Arbegast. The fourth degree is an organization focused on promoting love of our country and patriotism. Let us never forget those who have sacrificed so much, even to making the ultimate sacrifice of their life, for the freedom we enjoy.
