AREA

•Tartaglia, (Fogarty) Alissa Rae, of Westborough, Massachusetts, formerly of Rochester. Suddenly February 23, 2013, after a courageous battle with Leukemia at age 38. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel J. Tartaglia; sons, Joshua and Jacob Tartaglia; father and mother, Lawrence and Ruth Fogarty; brothers, Master Sgt. Adam (Emma) Fogarty, USAF of New Hampshire, Jeff Jordan; sister, Jennifer (Bill) Retsch of Pennsylvania; mother-in-law, Francine Tartaglia, brother-in-law, Russ Tartaglia; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services were held March 2 at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., Gates. Private interment. Donations can be made to Tartaglia Children’s Education Fund, c/o Central One Federal Credit Union, 714 Main Street, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts 01545 (Acct # 0800648886) in her memory.

 

CHILI

•Wright, Ozie Bell, February 21, 2013, age 85. Survived by her children, Willie (Callie) Wright, Gloria Jackson, Mary (Elmo) Williams, Betty Williams, Henry, John and Cherry Wright; brothers, Henry (Rutha), Oscar Jr., James (Carol), Otis (Geneva) Killings and Moses (Sadie) Watkins, Jr.; sisters, Annie Grace (CJ) Mitchell and Linda (Henry) Davis; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A Homegoing Celebration was held March 2 at Emmanuel Temple, Seneca Parkway. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery, Chili.

 

HILTON

•Wagner, James C., February 26, 2013, age 78. Survived by his wife, Ruth; his children, Robert W. (Julie) Wagner and Patricia R. (Rick) Carlson; grandchildren, Megan (Craig) Hecker, Jimmy C. Wagner and Steven H. Butcher; sisters, Jane Vagg of Albion, Mary Ellen (Dave) Scharett of Fredricksburg, Virginia and Kathy; brother-in-law, Bill (Marilyn) Walker; sister-in-law, Janet (Bill) Brobst of Lakeland, Florida; nieces, nephews and many friends. Jim was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Funeral Services were held March 1 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery.

 

HOLLEY

•Verblaauw, Robyn, age 71, died suddenly February 23, 2013 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ken; her daughter Tracy (Ken) Frasier of Holley; grandsons, Jacob, Connor and Brendan Stevens; brothers Bill (Joan) Howell of Elkton, Maryland, Butch Howell of Wiles Barre, Pennsylvania; sisters Patty Albertson and Harriet Haughwout, both of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Robyn was a member of the Holley American Legion Auxiliary and she loved to cook.

Funeral Services were held February 26 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Inc., Holley. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or to the Holley EMS squad in her memory.
