•Daniels, Richard E., Age 82, died suddenly September 21, 2013. He was predeceased by his mother, Vivian; brothers, Billie Guy and Melvin; and sister, Patricia Daniels. He is survived by his children, Vikki (Terry) Quinn of Hamlin, Richard (Lorrie) Daniels Jr. of Hamlin, Jacquelyn (Dick) DeMarco of Holley, Rory E. (Susan) Daniels of Chicago, Illinois, Jodi L. Daniels of Holley; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; special friend, Virgie Engle of Shelbyville, Missouri; brother, Allan (Carolyn) Daniels; sisters, Sue Rittenhouse, Ruth Bohannon; sister-in-law, Delores Daniels all of Illinois; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Funeral Services were held September 26 at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment with Military Honors in Garland Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, or Ovarian Cancer National Alliance in his memory.

•Hugelmaier, Elsie M. (Hetzke), On September 19, 2013 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd. She is survived by her children Lloyd Jr. (Betty), Marilynn (Tyler) Smith, Larry (Judy), Pamela (Richard) Tolster, Shirley (Donald) Timberlin; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 13 great great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Grover Hugelmaier; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held September 21 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment at the convenience of the family.

•Kuzniarek, Jean C., September 19, 2013, age 68. Predeceased by husband, Joseph. Survived by children, Mariano (Jolynne Pakusch) Zanghi, Joseph Kuzniarek, Angela (Nancy Hughes) Zanghi; sisters, Serena Boyd and Carolyn Blanchard; grandchildren, Joseph, Isabella, Angelina, Nichole; great-granddaughter, Destiny.
Funeral Services were held September 23 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Donations can be made to Lollypop Farm in her memory.

•Ville, Ivan B., September 18, 2013. Died peacefully surrounded by his family after a three year battle with cancer. Survived by wife of 40 years, Susan Dewey Ville; children, Brian Ville, Kathleen Ville, Marc Vile (deceased) and wife Lynn, and their mother, Joanne; sister, Martha Pauly and brother, Jules Ville (deceased); step children, Linda Glabach, David and Tom Pimm, and numerous grandchildren. Ike was an army veteran, loyal volunteer of the Spencerport Ambulance, University of Rochester graduate, and a 10 year member of Massasauga Search and Rescue.
A Celebration of his Life was held September 21 at Ogden Presbyterian Church, Spencerport. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.

•McMillan, Brenda S. (Moore), Age 56, died September 22, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Justin (Amanda) McMillan of Brockport, Sheena (John) Hamiter of Clarendon; grandchildren, Brayden and Abigail McMillan, Eliana Hamiter; her parents, Cecil and Mary Lou Moore of Clarendon; sisters, Nina (Randy) Gurnsey of Barre, Kathy (James) Swabb of Clarendon, Dianne (Raymond) Hillabush of Clarendon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.

•Michaelson, Howard L. “Mike”, September 18, 2013, age 82. Predeceased by daughter, Deborah Michaelson, sister, Sophia “Jackie” Klem. Survived by son, Guy (Janis) Michaelson; daughter, Kelly (Michael) Smith; grandchildren, Greg and Hunter Smith; step-grandchildren, Aaron, Kerry and Ashley Arnett; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

•Bates, Marjorie A. (Langbein), September 14, 2013, age 85 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, William Bates, 1997. Survived by her children, William Bates, Carol (Paul) DeNeve, Thomas (Kathleen) and Michael (Carmen) Bates; six grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Brian (Angela), Marjorie, Ann and Kelly Bates; great-grandson, Ryan Earl; her brother, William (Shirley) Langbein; best friend, Pat Farrell; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Also predeceased by her sisters, Geraldine Wager and June Johnson and her brother, Charles Langbein.

•Kline, Ruth E., Peacefully September 22, 2013, age 80. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Kline, 1996. Survived by her son, Michael (Barbara) Kline; sisters, Lorraine Reis and Linda Williamson; grandson, Edward Leonard; brothers-in-law, Leo and William Kline; sisters-in-law, Martha (Floyd) Yeckley, Theresa (Don) Cunningham; several nieces and nephews.

•Malone, Robin L., September 21, 2013 at age 48. Predeceased by her father, Bradley Sweet and husband, Joseph Malone. She is survived by her mother Joyce Hoffman and step-father, Patrick Kelly; daughters, Alysse, Nicole and Alexis Malone; siblings, Dawn Pierce, Jeff (Hekyung) Sweet and Todd Sweet; sister-in-law, Stacy (John) Cortese; several nieces, nephews; many dear friends.

•Milroy, Duane W., September 19, 2013, age 81. Survived by wife, Virginia Milroy; children, Peggy (Edward) Young, Lisa (Richard) Frank, Cheryl Clark, Richard (Tammy) Heffron, Susan Sharp, Cindy Nuffer; sister, Diane (Douglas) Gosnell; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sons, Robert and Karl Milroy; and granddaughter, Amiee White.

•Powell, Melanie (Makas), Died suddenly while working at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware. Predeceased by her mother, Clara Powell. She has left behind her husband of 16 years, Gary Makas; father, Francis Powell; sisters, Michelle (Kevin) Berry, Mary (Jim) Sweet; brother, Mark (Valerie) Powell; several nieces and nephews. Melanie was an active member of dog obedience (formally DOTCORNY), has her B.S. in Biochemistry from Brockport, was a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and a cancer survivor for over 30 years.
A Graveside Service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, September 30 at Parma Union Cemetery. •Heller, Raymond C., Sr., Age 65, died September 21, 2013. He was predeceased by his father Charles and sister Sharon Causyn. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; his children, Raymond (Natalie) Heller Jr. of Kendall, Donna (Rick) Mendolera of Chili, Lisa (Eric) Beers of Maryland, Tom (Pam) Heller of Holley; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Anita of Brockport; sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Finnefrock of Georgia, Barb (Todd) Dodson of Brockport; several nieces and nephews.

•Shortsleeve, Barbara R. (Arend), peacefully on September 23, 2013 at age 70. Predeceased by her husband Brian. She is survived by her son Michael (Shannon) Pille; sister Annette (Paul) Carman; brother Doug (Debby) Arend; step-son Scott (Karen) Shortsleeve; step-daughter Kelly Shortsleeve; step-grandchildren Justin and Zach; nieces, nephew, other family and friends.

•Zimmerman, Lynn “Tiny”, Age 71, died September 24, 2013 in The Village of Orleans following a long illness. Tiny was a truck driver for many years an then became a tenant farmer. He was also a volunteer fireman for over 32 years. He is survived by his daughter: Robin (Raymond) Paige of Kendall; his brother: Daryl J. Zimmerman; and his grandchildren: Kyle Zimmerman, Morgan-Rae Paige and Cheyenne Paige.
Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering to celebrate Tiny’s life on October 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the family’s home, 16780 Lakeshore Road, Kendall. •McDermott, Irene E., September 20, 2013 at age 79. Predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Hazel Goodman of Palmyra; husband, Ronald Herman of Marion, brothers, Edward (Ginger) of Colorado, Frank Goodman of Oklahoma and sister, Dorothy Tack of Texas, in-laws, John and Margaret McDermott and sister-in-law, Eileen Schey. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, John; son, Scott (Patty); and grandson, Tyler; sisters, Ida Mae Bump (Sam Kimple) of Waterloo, Ruth (Albert) Ford, Macedon, Janette Hotel of Palmyra, Joyce (John) Rising of Clifton Springs, Betty (Dallas) Jackson, Martville; aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors; step-son, John (Nancy) McDermott; step-grandchildren, Melissa and Birttni Rohr and Claire and Ella. Irene was employed at Stromberg Carlson, General Dynamics. She retired from Transmation Inc. after 18 years. Irene belonged to a Pen Pal Club having over 140 pals.

•Pierson, Donald F., September 10, 2013 at age 92. Predeceased by his wife, Ruth Pierson. Survived by his children, Tad (Silvia) Pierson and Heidi (Warren) Kozireski; brother, Louis Pierson; sister, Dolores Fisher, Schwaegerin, Marie Luise Moschini; many nieces and nephews. Don was a Kodak retiree, a US Submarine Veteran of WWII (USS Tinosa SS 283), a lifetime member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans of WWII, and a lifetime member of the Rochester Schwaben Verein. •Rafter, Robert Dawson, Age 71, died September 18, 2013 after a long battle with dementia. He served in the US Navy and worked at Eastman Kodak from 1966 until his retirement in 1991. He is survived by his loving companion, Patricia Finelli; his children, Christine (Gary) Mufford of Albion, Shelly (Matthew) Hannah of Brockport, Barbara (David) Corey of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kathleen (Edward) Rafter-Rutkowski of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Michelle (James) Teal of Rochester; grandchildren, Kevin, Amber, Charlene, Robert, Lindsey, Claire, Connor, Nathan, Grant; great-grandchildren, Bridget, Carsyn, Aaliyah, Owen, Aryanna; siblings, Kenneth Heath, Michael Heath, George (Lisa) Heath; one niece, one nephew; lifelong friend, Diane Rafter; man’s best friend, Harley.
A Graveside Service was held September 23 in Mt. Albion Cemetery with Military Honors. A Celebration of his Life was held at the Sheret Post #35 American Legion, Albion.

•Tripp, Alberta D., of Bradenton/Palm Harbor, Florida, formerly of Spencerport, 96 years old, died September 17, 2013. She is survived by daughters, Trudy Farrell, Penfield, Christine (Colin) Roods, Ontario, and Dawn (John) Crowley, Port Jefferson, New York; her grandchildren, Patrick Farrell, Charles Roods, Carrie (Ray) Roods-Yorkey, Cynthia Roods, Elizabeth, Heather, and Julia Crowley; great-grandchildren, Briton Roods and Charlize Roods.
