•Soo, Zun Chan, December 26, 2013 at age 85. Survived by his wife, Yin Fong; daughters, Chi Soo (Michael Astarita), Chi Wah Soo Brown (Paul) and Mimi Soo; grandchildren, Allison, Salena, Casmir, Kingsley and Marston. Also survived by nieces and nephews in China. Mr. Soo was a successful restaurant owner for many years. He began his food service career in Rochester with the China House on Main Street and then opened the Far East Restaurant on Monroe Avenue. He also pioneered selling Chinese food at festivals in and around Rochester.
Services to be held privately. Donations can be made to Highland Hospital Palliative Care in his memory.
