Marion N. Keagle
•Keagle, Marion N., on May 6, 2014 at age 84, from Alzheimer’s disease. A 1952 graduate of the Cornell University School of Nursing, Marion became a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy, Public Health Service branch and retired in 1980 as Captain and Director of the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Marion was predeceased by her sister, Norma Thompson. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Richard Thompson; cousin, Vera Powley; niece Marion Bulger (Kim Begandy); nephews Donald (Cheryl) Thompson, Stephen (Beth) Thompson, Kurt (Lisa) Thompson; seven great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great nieces.
A Memorial Service in Marion’s honor will be held at the Gates Presbyterian Church, 1049 Wegman Road, Rochester on May 18 at 3 p.m. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Lifetime Care/Hospice in her memory.
