Louis J. Lynch, Jr.

•Lynch, Louis J. Jr., age 88, died June 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Batavia, November 14, 1925 a son of the late Louis and Lena (Hayes) Lynch. He was predeceased by his wife, Nina (Buongiorne) in 1968. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; sons, Terry (Sue) Lynch of Spencerport, Steve (Lyn) Lynch of Scottsville; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lisa) Lynch, Jennifer (Anthony) Loria; great-granddaughter, Maya Lynch. Louie served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Jewell Buckman Post 529, American Legion and also served on the Honor Guard for several years. He was a graduate of Holley High School class of 1943 and a member of St. Mary’s Church. He was a former employee of Hart Taylor Lincoln Mercury, Rochester. Louie was an early race car pioneer at Spencer Speedway.

His Mass of Christian Burial was held June 20 at St. Mary’s Church. Interment with Military Honors in Holy Cross Cemetery.
