Mildred H. Cook
•Cook, Mildred H., age 95, died June 16, 2014 in Medina Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Mildred graduated from Brockport State Teachers College and taught in a one-room school house in Millville and then in Albion Central School System. She taught English in the Junior High School prior to retiring in 1975. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, in 2009. Mrs. Cook is survived by her brother, Lewis (Ann) Hazel and nephew James Hazel of Tonawanda; step-daughters; Jean (Rob) Calder and Nancy (Mike) Knapic, both of Buffalo; her step grandchildren, Robert (Cheryl) Calder, Karen (Lenny) Gregoretti, James (Lynette) Calder, Laura McCornell, Paul (Julie) DeBoth; 11 great grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews including Richard and Deborah Cook.
Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Albion First United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Carlton Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice in her memory.
