•Carey, Patrick W. Sr., August 21, 2014, at age 63. Predeceased by his father Frank Carey. Survived by his mother, Charlotte Carey; his loving wife, Cathy Carey; son, Patrick Jr. (Mellissa Jean); daughter, Melissa Ann Carey; three grandchildren, Mary Grace “Beno,” Patrick William Carey III “Shorty,” Joshua James “Screamer;” brothers, Frank Carey, Timothy (Carol) Carey; sisters, Lorraine (Doug) Blum, Brenda Carey, Linda Carey, Lisa Spangler; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Patrick was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines and served in the Vietnam War.
His Funeral Service was held August 26 at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Hilton. Interment, Millville Cemetery, Shelby. Contributions can be made to the charity close to one’s heart in his memory.
