•Frank, Elvira B., age 95, died August 31, 2014 in The Village of Orleans following a long illness. She was born May 16, 1919 in the Town of Murray to Leonard and Florence (Haight) Buck and had lived in this area all of her life. Elvira was a member of the Albion First Baptist Church. Mrs. Frank was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, her brother Ralph Buck, her sister Viola Podgers and sister-in-law, Mary Buck. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Terry) Champeney of Albion, Carol (Brian) Schrider of Florida; her sisters-in-law, Doris Buck of Horseheads, Dorothy Frank of Albion; five grandchildren, Deborah Prest, Tammy Prest, Terri Sue (Tom) Drennan, Richard (Patricia) Prest, Todd (Danielle) Champeney; 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service was held September 4 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Interment in Sandy Creek Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Orleans or to a charity of one’s choice in her memory.
