•Tappenden, James, Chili: March 27, 1943-April 1, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn K. Tappenden; daughter, Jennifer Tappenden; daughter and son-in-law, Kara and William Neidel, Jr.; grandsons, Collin Neidel and Jayden Neidel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth Kearns and Martha MacMillen.
A Life Celebration Service will be held on FRIDAY, (April 10, 2015), 7:00 PM at First Congregational United Church of Christ (65 Church Street; Spencerport, NY 14559), where a reception will immediately follow the Celebration. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Chili Senior Center (3235 Chili Avenue; Rochester, NY 14624), The National Warplane Museum (PO Box 185; 3489 Big Tree Lane; Geneseo, NY 14454) or to the First Congregational UCC Memorial Fund.
