•Smiley, Barbara J. (Milazzo) (Hervey), Holley: Passed on July 16, 2015 at the age of 80, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Richard. Survived by her 2 daughters Karon (Charles) Milazzo and Cynthia (Timothy) Hervey; 4 grandchildren Charles (Elizabeth) Milazzo, Joseph (fiancée Heather) Milazzo, Hannibal (Megan) Hervey and Hannah Hervey; 6 great grandchildren, Nathan, Alexis, Skyla, Dylan, Tera and Maximus. Survived by 1 sister Connie and 1 brother Donald as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A very vibrant and active woman, she retired from Frontier Telephone and went on to charity work and her hobbies. She volunteered at Aquinas, was an active member of Catholic Daughters, Martha’s Ministries and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She loved to travel and up to recently spent a short time living in Tampa, FL. She had previously visited Russia and Italy and celebrated Mass with the Pope. As an Army wife, she traveled from various states and countries and enjoyed the different cultures. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking, sewing and her sweets. She will be greatly missed. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday, July 25 from 11AM to 1PM at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport, where her funeral service will follow calling hours at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any animal charity or Lollypop Farm.
