Hilton: Peacefully May 8, 2016. Bill Hess, 82. Survived by his devoted wife, Shirley “Sparky” Hess; his son, William P. (Jodi) Hess Jr. and daughter, Laurie (Allan) Manzer; grandchildren, Cydney Hess, Amanda (Daniel) O’Connell, Maryjo Manzer, Aaron Manzer, Kristen (Brian) Nolan, Timothy (Michelle) Manzer, Christina Hillman (Sean Liddle) and Karen (Bryan) Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Emelia, Stephan, Liam, Aidan, Rhyan, Bryan, Patrick and Coilin; his sister, Shirley Sage; brothers, John (Betty) and Leo Hess; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his sister, Marilyn Salamone and his brother, Frank Hess. Bill was a member of Hilton United Methodist Church, Hilton Fire Dept. Hilton Rotary and Clio Lodge.
Friends are invited to call Thursday 3-5 at the Hilton Fire Dept. Exempts followed by Bill’s Memorial Service at 6:30 at Hilton United Methodist Church. Private interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing may contribute to his Church Remembrance Fund or VA Medical Center in Canandaigua in his memory.
