Diane (Brehse) Dietz

Chili: Diane departed this earthly realm to be with her Heavenly Father on May 29, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband, Earl; mother, Carol; father, Bill; brothers, David, Barry and Paul. She is survived by her 2 brothers, Neil (Marilyn) Brehse and Philip Brehse; sisters-in-law, Marcia (George) Bohonyi, Cindy Brehse and Brenda Terry; 7 nieces and nephews, Rachel (Ron) Bill, Nelda (Dean) Molnar, Josh (Claudia) Brehse, Shaunte (Tim) Owens, Tami Brehse, Kristin Cushman, Matthew Cushman and 7 great-nieces and nephews, Bridgette, Ayla, Alani, Victoria, Vanessa, Brayden and Isaiah; and 2 very special neighbors, Olivia and Sophie, whom she considered her granddaughters. Diane lived a complete life, full with church, family, friends, work, Sweet Adeline’s, travel and volunteering. She graduated from Millard Fillmore School of Nursing and pursued her career of caring for people at Strong Memorial Hospital and continued her gift for caring through volunteer work. She loved to bake special desserts to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth, including her own. She had won her battle with cancer through prayer and medicine and was working toward a full recovery when she died suddenly.

A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held at the Chili Presbyterian Church, 3600 Chili Ave. on Friday, July 1st at 10AM, with a gathering for family and friends immediately following at the Church. An additional celebration of Diane’s Life will be held in Eustis, FL. , July 8th. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society , American Heart Association , First Presbyterian Church in Eustis, FL., Chili Presbyterian Church, Kendall Lutheran Church or a charity of your choosing.
