Chili: Thursday, September 1, 2016 at age 90. Predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Tirpaeck). Survived by his daughter, Anne Steimer; granddaughter, Carrie Fantauzzo; sister-in-law, Cecelia Steimer; special niece, Celia Bachmann; special nephews, Joseph Steimer Jr. and Jim Ehrmentraut; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. George was a co-founder of The Carriage House for 60 wonderful years.
Friends are invited to his Memorial Mass, Tuesday 10:30 AM at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to School of the Holy Childhood or St. Pius Tenth Church (Building Fund).
