Alice E. Lazor

Alice Evelyn Lazor, 89, of Brockport, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2020. She was born to the late Donald R. Smith and Anna Helen Stefanik on August 22, 1930 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Alice graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1949. Alice was married to her late husband, George Michael Lazor Sr., on August 4, 1951 in St. John the Baptist Carpatho Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut. George and Alice relocated to Brockport in 1952 to work at General Electric. She loved doing ceramics, calligraphy, crocheting, playing cards, and reading books. Alice volunteered as a greeter at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in Brockport for 15 years. She was dedicated and radiated enthusiasm with the staff and other volunteers, talking and laughing. She always said everyone at Lakeside Beikirch was very loving and passionate about their jobs.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Deborah A. Lazor (partner Roxanne Burns) of Rochester, Donna Marie Williams (Robert) of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, George Michael Lazor Jr. (Christine) of Brockport; grandchildren, Nicholas M. Lazor (Emily) of Brockport, Noelle Catherine Niegsch (PJ) of Pittsford, Aaron Hinkley (Natalie) of Houston, Texas, Alicia Wardle (Jeremy) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Aziza Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Colton and Scarlett Wardle; nephew, Donald Hutchinson Jr (Karen); niece, Kim Scavo (Joe). Alice is also survived by her sister Dorothy and predeceased by her brother-in-law (Donald Hutchinson Sr.).

A burial service will be held in Connecticut.
