James L. Kurten

SPENCERPORT – A wonderful and loving husband, uncle and friend, James L. Kurten passed September 22, 2020. Predeceased by his parents LeRoy and Elva Lee Ann Kurten, brothers, John Robbins and LeRoy (Skip) Kurten. Survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Donna, her mother Patricia Bolling (Dan Rowcliffe), Sisters, Janet Crosswaite and Dorothy Wilt (Dave), Sister-in-law Christine Bolling, Nieces, Patti Giglio, Carrie Hull, Pam Wolf, Jeanne Smith, Nephews, Steve, Eric and John Robbins, Eddie Bolling, Jeff Crosswaite, Mark and Doug Wilt, Michael Kurten, numerous great nieces and nephews and very dear friends.

Jim was a proud Army Veteran and retired millwright from Delco Products. Jim loved adventure and had many passions throughout his life including drag racing, skydiving, Harleys and in later years touring the country with his wife Donna and dog Pickle in their RV, and weekend camping trips with his great niece and nephew Liesl and Karl Unvericht.

Jim loved and cared deeply for those fortunate to be part of his life and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

A Memorial Service was held September 29 at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Greece. Interment  with military honors at Garland Cemetery, Clarkson. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Jim’s memory.
