Greenbelt, MD – Native of Rochester, NY. Passed away peacefully on September 12, 2020 with her loving children by her side. Predeceased by her parents, John and Laura Pennington. Survived by her 5 children, Crystal Smith, Thomas E. (Denise) Smith Jr., Toi (Deon) Smith, Leonard Smith and Laura Smith; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins. Daryl was a fierce public servant with the 5th Congressional District in the city of Greenbelt, MD under the leadership of Congressman Steny Hoyer and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Private service and interment at the convenience of the family.
