William E. Nolan

N. Chili – Passed away December 15, 2020 at age 88. Pre-deceased his parents, William J. Nolan and Emma (Veith) Nolan; step-mother, Mary (Harrold) Nolan; step-brother, Thomas Harrold and sister, Beverley Ann Nolan. 

Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret (Maley) Nolan; children, Cathy (Rob) Elmore, Michael (Joan) Nolan, Kerry Nolan and Jennifer (Becky) Nolan; grandchildren, Brenna and Mia Elmore; brother-in-law, Austin (Jean) Maley and sister-in-law, Pat Maley; many nieces and nephews and countless devoted friends. 

Bill proudly served the United States Army during the Korean War. He joined the Rochester Police Department in 1964, retiring in 1988. He was a history buff, an avid antique collector and was widely known for his keen sense of humor. He will be missed by many. 

As per New York state rules please wear a mask for the visitation. Visitation will be Monday, December 21 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport (reservations required). For the visitation, please sign up for a reserved time on the funeral home’s website, www.walkerbrothersfh.com. Funeral Tuesday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m. St. Jude Church, 4100 Lyell Road. Interment Holy Ghost Cemetery.
