Fairport – passed January 2, 2021, age 93. Predeceased by wife, Joan (McDonald) Potter; great grandson, Zachary Mason, parents, John & Clara (Drennan) Potter and sister-in-law, Agnes Scoville; Survived by children, John William (Tina) Potter, Kathryne Potter, James (Brenda) Potter, David (Jennifer) Potter, and Mary Ann (Timothy) Lana; grandchildren, Aubrey, Sean, Brandy, Emma, Matthew, Jack, Brian & Eli; great-grandchildren, Ava, Nathan, Brayden & Lincoln; niece Joan (Tim) Evans.
John was a WWII & Korean War Veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed 38 years of retirement from Eastman Kodak Co.
