Rochester – Sadly passed away on Feb. 4, 2021 at age 79. Son of the late Samuel and Grace Sciascia. Survived by his brothers, Samuel (Angie) and Richard (Shawn); sister, Frances (Antonio) Masci; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Carl was born with Cerebral Palsy. Miraculously he beat the odds after his parents were told he would only survive to the age of 30. He lived a full and exciting life for what he had to endure. Carl accomplished many great things throughout his life, such as graduating from MCC with an Associate’s Degree as a social worker, owning his own TV repair shop, learning to drive and many many more achievements. Carl lived life to the fullest of his ability. He was extremely loved and will be missed by all that knew him.
Friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Wednesday 2:30 PM at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Al Sigl Center.
