OGDEN: John Eric Scott passed peacefully on February 11, 2021 after a lengthy illness. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Diane, son Daniel, step-children Randi (Clay) Smith, Kelly (Amy) Gendrou, grandchildren Nicholas, Lola, Lucas, Casco and Alex, step-sister Joanne (Robert) Bracey, as well as extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Scott, step-brother Richard Majeski, and son Eric Scott.
John served four years in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and retired from the Rochester City School District where he taught auto mechanics at Edison Tech.
Private burial in a military cemetery will take place in the spring.
