Gates – Passed away Thursday, February 18,2021 of colon cancer at age 76. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mildred Briggs and brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Sue Durling. Mary is survived by her husband, William Gravett; 2 sons, Steven and Donald Gravett; granddaughter, Cailey Gravett; siblings, Edward II (Cheryl) Briggs, Ellen Dallimore, Walter (Ann Marie) Briggs, Cindy Briggs, Jim Briggs and Ruth (David) Manning; and sister-in-law, Judy (Derek) VanHouten.
Prior to retiring, Mary worked at the RIT Student Government Office and was active in the First Baptist Church in Chili.
A celebration of her life will be announced at a later time. Private interment, Grove Place Cemetery, Chili, NY.
