Gates – Suddenly went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 24, 2021. He is predeceased by his wife, Laura; parents, Sabatino and Santina Simonetti; sisters, Domenica Novembrini and Italia Marcanio; and beloved son-in-law, Louis Moneta. Quirino was born in Celano, Italy and immigrated to the US in 1953. He was a retiree of RG&E and a true believer in a strong work ethic. Anybody that knew Reno knew that his first love was always his family and second was his love of gardening and homemade wine, never hesitating to share the harvests of either. In the eyes of his family, he was a pillar of strength and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Quirino’s life will be held Thursday 9:30AM at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Rochester, NY 14606. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
