Chili – Thursday, September 16, 2021 at age 90. Predeceased by his wife Rita. Survived by his children Nancy Jean (Douglas) Osborn, Susan (Richard) Sloma and Janet (John) Tierney; grandchildren Laura (Andrew), Jason (Christine), Elizabeth (Jacque), Nicole (Brae), Stephanie (Javier), Jacob (Katie), Luke (Doni) and Hannah; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Mary) Goldsmith; nieces Anne Marie (Gil) and Denise; many grandnieces, grandnephews and dear friends.
John was a retiree of Kodak as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Chili Art Group, a published author and glider pilot.
Friends may call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-3pm. Funeral Mass, Monday 9:30am at St Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice.
