Alice A. Miller

Chili – Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at age 89. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Richard; parents, John and Bertha Wojtowicz; and siblings, Frank and Ted Wojtowicz and Mary Flynn. Survived by her children, Elizabeth (Kevin) Barry, Paul (Suzanne) Miller, Mary (John) Guider, Martha (John) Kopcienski, Peter (Meredith) Miller and Catherine (James) Alexander; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Laura and Pat Miller; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Alice was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Simmons College and Penn State University. Alice was the daughter of Polish immigrants who instilled core values in her that carried through her life and passed to her children. She was the consummate homemaker, and was highly connected in her community, primarily through her church family at St. Pius Tenth. She was very gifted in the kitchen and with a sewing needle and was a voracious reader. Alice was a member of numerous organizations including SWEM Food Cupboard, St. Pius Tenth Social Ministry, Chili Garden Club and Friends of the Chili Public Library. She was loved by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Saturday at 10am at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3000 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. Spring interment, St. Pius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Pius Tenth Church or ABVI.
