Frederick J. McCullough Jr. (Jay)

SPENCERPORT – Passed away with family at his side on September 28, at age 91.

Born February 10, 1931 in Rochester, NY. Survived by devoted wife of 72 years, Joane (Herman); sons Frederick (Fred/Rick) and wife Jill (Wood) and Michael (Mac) and wife Jan (Patton); grandchildren Jamie (Dawn), Jennifer, Andrea (Gene), Amanda (Bryan), Stacy (Chris); great grandchildren Colin, Ashley, and Ellowyn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gary (Pat) Herman; several nieces and nephews.

Served in the U.S. Marine Corps, from 1948-1956 and was a Korean War veteran. Employed by Eastman Kodak Company in 1956 and retired in 1986 as the Security Director of Kodak Park. Served his communities as a member of the Brockport school board, Zoning Board chairman for Spencerport, and other positions; served as Director of International American Society for Industrial Security. Member of several military veteran groups with over 50 yrs in the American Legion. Became a Freemason in 1959 and Master of the Lodge in Brockport and Monroe District Deputy Grand Master. Joined the Etolian (Unity) Lodge in Spencerport 1990. Member of the Rochester Consistory, becoming a 32nd degree Mason, Holy Royal Arch, and other Masonic organizations including President of the Masonic Service Bureau.

Friends may visit at Rochester Cremation at 1118 Long Pond Rd. (south of Maiden Lane), Rochester, New York on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Visitation from 2-4pm, 4-5pm Masonic and Military Honors.
