Marilynn Wilson Cubitt

Went to her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the age of 89 surrounded at home by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years Raymond Cubitt; parents, William and Ida (Wallman) Willison; brothers, Malvern (Joan) Willison, Marvin (Shorty) Willison; brothers-in-law, Glen Cubitt, Bernard (Inda) Cubitt, and Edward Zavacki and sister-in-law Margaret Lemmens. She leaves behind daughters, Cynthia (Lou) Rossi, Kimberly Cubitt, and son Randall Cubitt; grandchildren, Evan (Krista) Hart, Ryan Hart, Alexander Zingaro, Laurel Hart (Jeff Prohaska), Vanessa (Benedetto Di Gregorio) Zingaro, Joshua Cubitt and Amanda Cubitt; great-grandchildren, McKailyn, Shaun, Lane, Liam, Aubrey and Denver; sister, Marcia Zavacki; sisters-in-law, Rita Willison, Sylvia Webster, and Carol (Mark) MacRae; brother-in-law, Robert (Joanne) Cubitt, and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. She also leaves her companion and faithful friend, her dog Fermi, who provided comfort throughout her final journey.

Marilynn was a retired Special Education Teacher, having worked for Monroe 2 Orleans BOCES for 28 years. She was a Trinity Lutheran Church Pre-School Director for 14 years, and an active member serving on many committees at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencerport. She was an avid gardener and took a great deal of pride in maintaining her lovely gardens and home. She showed her love for others in her deeds of service to family, friends, students, and her community. She will be missed by many and forgotten by few.

There will be a Memorial Service for family and friends on Friday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 191 Nichols Street (Route 31), Spencerport, NY with a light reception immediately following at the church. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Trinity Lutheran Church Pre-School www.trinityspencerport.org.Our family would like to thank our family, friends and Pastor Steve who supported Marilynn during her journey home to the lord.
