John L. (Larry) Smith went home to be with his Savior on December 22, 2023 after a short illness.
He is survived by Bonnie, his loving wife of 62 years, his children, David (Gigi), Julie Hunt (Ken Schaible), Laurie (Peter) Boyd, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Larry graduated from Bob Jones University in 1961 and married Bonnie a month later. He worked at Eastman Kodak for 27 years and in retirement enjoyed a career as a home health aide. Larry served His Lord faithfully, most recently as an elder at Grace and Peace Fellowship.
There will be no calling hours or service at this time. A celebration of life will be held in March.
