AREA: Wickes, Marian B., of Greece, died April 19, 2026, at age 98. She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Irene Beikirch, and beloved husband, Donald Wickes (1988). Marian is survived by her devoted children, George (Diane) Wickes, Renee (Ed) Flugel, and Donna Wickes; grandchildren, Michelle (Keith) Kane, Bryan (Jessica) Wickes, Lucas (Sarah) Wickes, Brooke (Michael) Borrelli, and Christopher, Benjamin, and Justin Flugel; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Marian was the owner of “We Wickes,” a crafting business that reflected her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. She had a special talent for creating beautiful stained glass pieces and found great joy in photography, flower gardening, and researching the history of the Erie Canal. In her younger years, she dedicated her time as a Girl Scout leader, sharing her guidance and enthusiasm with others.
Her Funeral Service was held on April 24 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home in Hilton, with burial in Parma Union Cemetery.
