BROCKPORT: Neumann, Glenn W., 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Pearl (Hotell) Neumann, and his beloved wife of 45 years, Sandra Lee R. (Freese) Neumann.
He is survived by his sister, Ann (Brian) Roller; nieces, Loraleigh Roller and her fiancé, Alex Quintero, and Michelle (Keith) Topper; great-nephew, Kyle; several cousins; his dear and longtime best friend, Stephen Mershon; friends, Scott and Josh Lemcke and Sandor Kovacs; and many friends within the Trinity Lutheran Church community.
Glenn was born in Spencerport, NY, on August 2, 1950. In his youth, he was an active member of the 4-H Manitou Indians, earning numerous blue ribbons at the County Fair for his vegetables, cookies, and pies. He also did woodworking and received blue ribbons for his boot jack, lamp, and several other projects. Glenn participated every year in public presentations at the county and state levels. As a young adult, Glenn loved trail-riding and competing at Monroe County and State 4-H horse shows with his Arab Palomino horse, Stutz. Along with his sister, Ann, he was part of the Hilton Mounted Drill Team led by Don “Bucky” Lemcke, performing in parades and horse shows.
Glenn enjoyed swimming in the family’s swimming pool and earned a Fitness Award from President Kennedy for swimming 50 miles in a single summer. He loved science projects and participated in many science fairs. One of his most prized projects was building a solar BBQ cooker…and it worked! Growing up, he also enjoyed climbing trees, hiking around the farm, driving the tractor, and harvesting the hay.
Upon graduating from high school, Glenn received a full scholarship to the University of Rochester for Science and Chemistry. He later transferred to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he earned his bachelor’s degree, and went on to complete his master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Michigan.
Glenn and Sandy met while working on a horse farm and fell in love. They wed in August 1977 and were married for 45 years until Sandy’s passing in 2022. They remained dedicated lifetime members of the 4-H Club. Together, they built their home in Spencerport and established Neumann Farms, where they spent many years raising livestock, growing vegetables, and caring for their horses. They were also deeply devoted members of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencerport, cherishing the many friendships they made through their faith community.
Professionally, Glenn worked as a chemist for Dad’s Dog Food, followed by a 17-year career at Kodak. He concluded his career at Rochester Radiator in Lockport. During his retirement, Glenn continued to operate Neumann Farms alongside Sandy.
Glenn’s faith was a cornerstone of his life, bringing him immense strength and comfort. We take solace in knowing he is now at peace, pain-free, walking tall and resting eternally.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, July 28, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencerport, NY, with burial immediately following at Parma Corners Cemetery, 1837 North Union Street, Spencerport, NY.

BROCKPORT: Woodcook, Pamela A., age 67, died July 16, 2026. She was born January 28, 1959, in Rochester, a daughter of the late Albert and Gail (Ruck) Ward, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Bailey Pierga; brother, Albert Ward, Jr.; and son-in-law, Nick Sigl. Pam is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Richard “Rick;” daughters, Lisa (Jeremy) Eichas and Suzanne “Suzi” Sigl; grandchildren, Zachary Ryan and Deanna Eichas, Madison Pierga, Hailey Inguagiato; siblings, Roxanne Brooks, Daniel (Karen) Ward, Lora Hayes, and Paul (Tammy) Ward; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She worked as an LPN, starting at Arnold Gregory Hospital in Albion, then at Park Ridge Hospital, Edna Tina Wilson Living Center, Orleans County Nursing Home, and finally at Elderwood of Brockport, where she retired. She enjoyed bowling and participated in a league for many years.
Services were held on July 21 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes in Holley. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mt. Albion Cemetery. CLARENDON: Blank, Albert John, Jr., age 91, died July 19, 2026. Al was born on November 27, 1934, the youngest of seven children born to Albert J. Blank, Sr. and Lillian (Pfrommer) Blank. Al was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia; and siblings, Rosemarie Codori, Robert Blank, Dorothy Gosnell, Ruth Wolf, William Blank, and Donald Blank. He is survived by his daughters, Colleen (Al) Roco and Pauline Pratt; and grandsons, Aaron Koss (Melissa Selover) and Joel Koss. Al was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked many years for Star Market as a meat cutter and manager of the meat department in Batavia and Albion. When the company went out of business, he joined the maintenance department at the Brockport School District. Al had a lifelong love of the outdoors and was an avid hunter and sport shooter. He was talented at woodworking and constructed pieces of furniture from his own walnut tree.

HAMLIN: LaDue, Fredrick “Fred” James, died June 30, 2026, at age 62. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Patricia LaDue, and brother-in-law, Richard David. HAMLIN: Lemmon, Scott A., died July 16, 2026, at age 61. He was predeceased by his father, David Lemmon; sister, Lynn Lemmon; and brother, Mark Lemmon. He is survived by his mother, Gaynell Lemmon; siblings, David (Helen) Lemmon and Barbara (Wayne) Lewis; nieces, Rebecca Martin and April (Dan) Acciaio; nephews, Andrew Lemmon, Jake Lemmon, Matt Lemmon, and Aaron (Stephanie) Lewis; several great-nieces and a great-nephew. Scott found joy in serving others in his job as a waiter at Braddock’s Bay Tavern, where his friendly personality and smile earned him many friendships. An excellent cook, he enjoyed preparing meals to share with family and friends. He loved gardening and had a large collection of everything “Betty Boop.” Above all, he treasured spending time with his family and friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter, good conversation, and love.

HILTON: Frisbee, Ronald Lawrence, of Canisteo, died July 20, 2026, at age 71. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Janet Frisbee, and brother, Gary Frisbee. He is survived by his siblings, Randy Frisbee, Mark (Debbie) Frisbee, and Julie (Royce) Klatt; sister-in-law, Robin Frisbee; nieces and nephews, Christine (Joe), Jessica (Santo), Joshua, Cathleen, Kerrilyn (Zach), Dawn, April (Phil), John, Emily, and Justin; and twelve great-nieces and nephews. A man of deep faith and unwavering devotion, Ronald was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Canisteo. He served as a Deacon and, for many years, lovingly cared for the church as the custodian. In his leisure, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite team, the New York Yankees. He loved his family deeply.
