At the 2013 Byron-Bergen Graduation Ceremony on June 22, several seniors were awarded scholarships from the Byron Kiwanis. The Byron Kiwanis Club Award is a longstanding award that is “given to one or more seniors who demonstrate a positive interest in attending a one or two year school of higher education after high school graduation. They must be judged to have the ability and desire to complete their chosen program.” This year, Nicole Fore, Erica Hickey, Kelly Kruppner, Kiersten Richenberg, and Kennedy White were recognized at the Byron-Bergen graduation ceremony with this award and were formally presented the scholarships at a special Kiwanis Club meeting on July 23.
