For the second year, seniors at Hilton High School have had the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and decisions about their future during Senior Decision Day. Students wore T-shirts emblazoned with their college choice, decorated pennants and posted them on the wall in the foyer, and enjoyed cookies.
“It’s a chance for recognition and for the seniors to get together one more time as a class,” said School Counselor Mark Palumbo. “And it’s fun to see the variety of colleges and universities represented by our students.”
A table of computers was also set up so seniors could complete an online exit survey and voice their opinions about what they liked and what needs improvement at Hilton High School.
“I feel like the school is congratulating us on our achievements,” said Emily Spirito, who will head to SUNY Fredonia in the fall.
