Eight new inductees will soon be added to the Athletic Wall of Honor located outside the gymnasium at the Brockport A.D. Oliver Middle School, for making an impact on the district’s Interscholastic Athletic program.
The community is invited to the induction ceremony Saturday, October 4 in the A.D. Oliver Middle School cafeteria, 40 Allen Street. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and the ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. Inductees will visit the Wall of Honor following the ceremony and will also be honored during halftime of the Varsity Football game, which begins at 7 p.m.
This year’s class includes:
Katie Aldrich Brown, ‘97 BHS graduate (soccer/basketball/track); Ronald F. Broadbent, ‘52 BHS graduate (soccer/football/baseball/cross-country/track); Dixie Butler Trask, Teacher/Coach (softball ‘75-’95); Bob “Pep” Pepper (honored posthumously), Athletic Director and Coach; Don Roberts, ‘74 BHS graduate (football/wrestling/baseball); Katie Robertson, ‘92 BHS graduate (soccer/basketball/softball), Coach (softball); Fred Taube, ‘52 BHS graduate (soccer/track); Steve Zaffuto, ‘77 BHS graduate (baseball/soccer/golf), Coach (golf/girls basketball).
