Lion President Chuck Hare presents a $50 gift to Student of the Month Nora McQuilkin, while the Ranger Bear, Lion Al Knutwoicz and Principal Sean McCabe look on.
The Spencerport Lions Club has partnered with the Spencerport High School to honor a student each month. September’s recipient of the award is Nora McQuilkin, a junior, who is a member of the Spencerport Service Club, Yearbook Club and Stand-up for Cancer Club. The honor was awarded to Nora for Respect in the classroom and at extra curricular activities.
The Lions Club presented her with a gift of $50 and invited her and her parents to a dinner meeting.
Next month the award will be based on Pride.
