Spencerport High School students volunteered to assist Foodlink at St. Peter’s Soup Kitchen in Rochester on November 9. The volunteers sorted donations and set up areas for food distribution to more than 140 families. The student volunteers represented Melissa Garofalo’s CO-OP class, members of the high school book store, and the Service Learning Internship Program (SLIP). The volunteer opportunities are coordinated by SLIP advisor, Doug Hanson.
