The faculty of the Department of Art at The College at Brockport are all practicing artists who exhibit nationally and internationally. In the upcoming Faculty Exhibition, they are presenting their most recent works which encompass a variety of media, including ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, graphic design and mixed media, while also incorporating new technologies. The show will run from September 4 through October 11. The gallery is located at 180 Holley Street, Brockport, and the exhibit is free and open to the public. An opening reception will take place on Tuesday, September 3, at 4 p.m.
Faculty members participating in the show include gallery director and curator Timothy Massey, Chris Carson, Mitchell Christensen, Sara DiDonato, Jennifer Hecker, Kitty Hubbard, and Lori Mills. Additional works from adjunct faculty or emeriti may become part of the exhibition, as well.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. For information, call 395-2805.
