Buses filled with Merton Williams Middle School and Hilton High School students rolled in to each of the elementary schools in Hilton at 9 a.m. on February 14 for the Sixth Annual Cadet Connect. Then the fun began as students made their way to classrooms where they spent part of the morning doing a variety of activities with the little Cadets.
The Cadet Connect program is a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative giving older and younger students the opportunity to build relationships, play games, make friendship bracelets, and enjoy some treats.
Classes also celebrated Valentine’s Day and the 100th Day of School, with some of the younger students even dressing up like 100-year olds.
