The Spencerport Central School District Board of Education has appointed Erin Shaw as the new assistant principal for Spencerport High School. Shaw fills the opening left vacant by Dr. Michael Calzi, who accepted a position in the Livonia school district this summer.
Ms. Shaw will be responsible for the incoming ninth grade class and the high school academy. She comes to the district from Rush-Henrietta with 20 years of experience in education as a math teacher and for 2020-21, as an assistant principal for their high school. She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher, and has recently met the requirements for the NYS Master Teacher Program. She brings a great deal of curriculum and instructional knowledge to the administrative team.
