Ranger Robotics team challenges elementary students with STEAM lessons

Students from the Spencerport High School Ranger Robotics Team 3015 led several STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) lessons on November 12 at Bernabi and Taylor Elementary Schools.

Robotics students challenged the elementary students to build the tallest structure using only popsicle sticks and mini binder clips (or tape, depending on the grade level).

The students displayed many skills to accomplish the task, including teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, and negotiating.

The Ranger Robotics team visited Canal View and Munn Elementary Schools the week of November 15.
