Senior Luciano Chinappi, captain of Hilton’s varsity hockey team, has won the prestigious Thomas M. Nichols Scholarship Award, sponsored by the Rochester Americans Alumni Association. The scholarship award recognizes the player’s efforts more than natural ability. The award is earned by a graduating senior who has worked as hard as possible and has given the game 110 percent effort. Chinappi will be recognized at the Amerks game on March 18.
