Hilton welcomes Mark Driesel as Hilton High School assistant principal
At its June 14 meeting, the Hilton Board of Education appointed Mark Driesel to the new position of assistant principal of Hilton High School.
Most recently, Driesel served as a teacher for students with disabilities at Kendall Jr./Sr. High School, a position he’s held for the past nine years. Prior to that, he worked as a tutor at Lindamood Bell Academy in MA.
Driesel’s education includes a master’s in School Building Leadership, an Advanced Certificate in Digitally Rich Teaching and Learning, and an Advanced Certificate in School District Leadership, all from the University of Rochester.
“I am really excited to be joining the Hilton Family,” said Driesel. “(Principal) Dr. (Jeff) Green and the high school staff have already made my transition seamless. I’m looking forward to working with an amazing team.”
Driesel lives in Kent with his wife, Katie, and their daughter, Emmie, age three.
