Eagles win fifth in basketball

Kendall had three players score in double figures and scored 35 points in the second half to secure a 62-45 home victory over Elba – their fifth win of the season.

Will Condo scored two late buckets to help stake the Eagles to a 16-10 first quarter lead. Isiah Brown then scored all six of his points in the second quarter while senior classmate Garret Love added five more, but the Kendall lead was still just four points at halftime.

The third quarter was the Alex Sutphen show as he knocked down two treys and 10 points as the Eagles outscored the Lancers 20-7 to extend the lead to 17 points.

Condo took over in the fourth quarter as he hit on six-of-seven free throws to keep the contest out of reach.
Condo led the Eagles with 16 points and added eight rebounds, Sutphen finished with 13 points and Mookie Nauden added 10 points to go with a team-high five assists. Brown had 11 rebounds with six points, Love nine points with six rebounds and Devin Appleton hit a pair of treys in the second half.
