The Hilton Cadets girls’ bowling team were crowned Section V Class A champions on February 12 at Gates Bowl. The team won with a six-game score of 5,368, the highest overall score in all of Section V.
Sarah Gerken had the high game of 232 and the high series of 1,175 in all of Class A. Bailey Lucas had a series of 1,175, Beth Heberger a series of 1,093, Dallas Barthelmann a series of 1,049 and Sabryna Farsace a series of 945.
Other team members are Elena Carr, Moriah Chapman, Kaitlyn Liucci and Taylor Lucas. The girls’ team is coached by Jim Feely and assisted by Dave Roethel.
The Cadets will represent Section V at the NYSPHSAA State Bowling Championship in Cheektowaga, NY on March 5 and 6.
