Four Bright Raven Gymnasts competed in the USA Gymnastics Level 7/8 Regional 6 Championships held April 22 and 23 in Springfield, Massachusetts winning several honors.
Emily Field, age 15 of Greece competed in the Level 8 Senior B division and placed third on bars.
In the Senior B Level 7 competition, 14 year old Naimah Muhammad of Rochester earned three bronze medals placing third on vault, uneven parallel bars and all around.
Ashley Wood, age 10 of Henrietta competed in the Level 7 Child B division and took first place in floor exercise. Madeline Pitts, age 12 of Victor won floor exercise in the Junior C division and placed third on vault.
The USAG Region 6 Championships included gymnasts from all of the New England States in addition to New York. Gymnasts qualified to compete in the Regional Championship by earning high all around scores at their individual State Meets.
