Byron-Bergen Senior signs letter of intent for Canisius College
Byron-Bergen senior Kelsey Fuller has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Canisius College. Fuller was named 2019 Section V Player of the Year, 2nd Team All-State, and is a four-time Genesee Region All-Star. She closed out her varsity career with 63 goals, 64 assists, and three team MVP awards.
“I am thankful for my time at Byron-Bergen and for the staff always pushing me to do my best,” said Fuller. “I wouldn’t be where I am without them. I am grateful for all the opportunities that I have been given and I’m excited for what lies ahead.”
“I am so proud of Kelsey,” said Byron-Bergen Athletic Director Rich Hannan. “She has worked so hard and I am confident she will do great things in the next chapter of her life. Canisius is a fantastic college and they are getting a great student athlete from Byron-Bergen.”
Off the soccer field, Fuller is a member of the varsity basketball team, varsity softball team, Byron-Bergen Sting Soccer, WNY Flash Soccer, GV Pride AAU basketball, Varsity Club, Prom Committee, and is Senior Class Secretary. She plans to study business at Canisius College with a future goal of marketing beauty products worldwide and traveling to new places.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be a Golden Griff and part of the Canisius Class of 2024,” said Fuller. “I am eager to create relationships and build bonds with my new teammates and peers. I can’t wait to see what next year has in store for me and to be part of the women’s soccer team while also pursuing my career in business.”
