Well the Town of Parma wasted no time grabbing onto a sharp rise in real estate sales and values. They could not resist unleashing the greed pent up in that building on Hilton Parma Townline road any longer. Time to go straight after the taxpayers. Long time residents or new ones, it just did not matter. Well my taxes went up a whopping 66%! “Non negotiable” is their answer when all the increases were questioned by residents. The new tax assessor is a real treat to work with. So what happens now with all this extra revenue? Sewers, street lights, more sidewalks and bike paths, refuse pickup? You better come up with something because we are all watching.
