•Purdy, George J., Brockport, on November 27, 2014 at age 85 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his first wife Mary and second wife Jewel, children Alice and Sean, brother Jack, sister Vera (Bob) and daughter-in-law Jo Ann. He is survived by his son David; daughter June (David) Sechowski; daughter-in-law Diane Purdy; grandchildren Michael Purdy, Colleen (Justin) Topalian, Sarah (Geoffrey) Mills, Alice Purdy, Rachael (TJ) Moore, Patrick Sechowski; great-grandchildren Carter, Owen, Evan and Nolan; siblings Tom Cirigliano, Rocky (Sue) Cirigliano, Judy (Jerry) McAvey; sister-in-law Christina Purdy; several nieces and nephews including Duane, Kevin and James Smith, and his beloved pet Sunny Boy.
Services were held December 5 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment will be held in White Haven Memorial Park in the spring.
