Newsweek names RRH nursing homes among America’s best

Rochester Regional Health’s Park Ridge Living Center and Edna Tina Wilson Living Center have both been ranked among the best nursing homes in New York State in Newsweek’s “America’s Best Nursing Homes for 2026.” This recognition reflects the exceptional skill, compassion, and dedication of the care teams at both facilities.
“At Rochester Regional Health, we are driven by our commitment to deliver world-class care that uplifts every individual we serve,” said Richard “Chip” Davis, PhD, CEO of Rochester Regional Health. “This national recognition is a direct reflection of the remarkable teams at Park Ridge and Edna Tina Wilson. Their passion and professionalism continue to set the standard for excellence in long-term care in Rochester and beyond.”
This marks the second consecutive year that Edna Tina Wilson Living Center has been honored, coming in at #5 among New York facilities with 100–149 beds. Wegman Family Cottages at Park Ridge Living Center secured its third consecutive appearance on the list, moving up two places to claim #7 in the state.
“Our teams work tirelessly to create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our residents,” said Christine Stalker, VP of Long Term Care at Rochester Regional Health. “Being recognized again—and moving up in the rankings—proves the real difference our caregivers make in the lives of residents and their families every day.”
Newsweek’s “America’s Best Nursing Homes” rankings, developed in partnership with Statista, draw on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Facilities are evaluated on staff-to-resident ratios, accreditations, resident satisfaction, and expert recommendations. New for 2026, vaccination rates and expanded state-level data were also factored into the rankings.
