Ferris Goodridge Post #330 of the American Legion held a blood drive on October 31. The goal from the Red Cross was 14 units. With help from legion family members and the surrounding communities, they were able to exceed that goal and collect 20 units of blood. The blood collected at this drive went to help patients in need at Rochester General Hospital, Unity Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Geneva General Hospital, Kenmore Mercy Hospital and Bethesda Medical. Ferris Goodridge will hold their next blood drive on March 6, 2019 at the post home, 691 Trimmer Road, Spencerport, from 1 to 6 p.m. All are invited to roll up their sleeves and help the Legion help others.
